Field Trip to TOYOTA Plant & SCMAGLEV and Railway Park

As a part of JUACEP Summer Program 2013, we visited Toyota Tsutsumi Plant in Toyota city and SCMAGLEV and Railway Park run by Central Japan Railways Company on June 24.

• ~TOYOTA Tsutsumi Plant Tour~
• 9:30-10:30
We had plant tour at Tsutsumi Plant and watched ‘assembly’ and ‘welding’ shops for 1 hour in total. We felt the TOYOTA’s leading technique of manufacturing vehicles by robots.



• ~ SCMAGLEV and Railway Park~
• 11：30-15:00
At SCMAGLEV and Railway Park, visitors can see the real Shinkansen on display. Some of the JUACEP students won raffle for the right to try the Shinkansen simulator (N700)! Besides, we experienced 500km/h speed of superconducting Maglev at the Maglev theater room.
